ADAM Audio S4X-V Midfield Monitor Vertical

The Adam SX Series monitors are coveted tools in professional listening environments around the world. Designed and built for no-compromise professional use, the SX Series is a result of ADAMs many years of intense research and development in electro-acoustics, combined with high-quality components and materials, resulting in a high-class studio monitor.

The S4X-V features all of the same sonic characteristics as the S4X, but in a vertical arrangement. It has the same X-ART tweeter and 5 Hexacone midrange as the rest of the SX Series, making easy to have different combinations of S4X speakers in larger, multi-channel applications. Along with the X-ART tweeter and Hexacone midrange speakers, the S4X-V features a specially designed 12 low-frequency driver creating 3-way system with optimum performance. The dynamic features of the S4X-V are exceptional throughout the entire frequency range: extreme transient-like noise events such as explosions or bursting material are reproduced with total realism.

A 250W PWM amplifier drives the S4X-Vs midrange speaker while a 500W PWM amp powers the woofer. The low heat generation of this technology guarantees highest reliability. Like the S4X-H, the S4X-V is designed for medium-sized studios, but its high power performance makes it absolutely capable of providing larger rooms with adequate levels. Because of their technical specifications which closely follow the recommendations of the IRT (German Institute for Broadcast Technology), their superior sound quality and high reliability, these monitors are particularly suitable for broadcast and TV applications but can also be found in numerous major recording studios.
