Truth in Advertising

A neck injury sustained nearly 6 years ago had limited my endurance to about 30 minutes of playing before experiencing tingling and numbness in my fretting (left) hand. The instant I slung my Ibanez X-series from the Mega Bass Strap, I had high hopes that the manufacturer's claims were true. My bass felt lighter and more comfortable, and I didn't have to stop playing until my hands began to cramp. I'll finally be able to play for longer sessions and get back in "fighting shape". My bass is, indeed, no longer a Pain in the Neck. Thanks, Neotech.

Too short!

This is a quality item, but if you are a pick style player and / or you wear your bass down low, this strap won't work for you. I'm 5 foot 8 and at maximum length this strap puts my bass at my lower chest. If you play fingerstyle with your bass up high you'll probably love it.

    Bought a 2nd one of these so I could have 2 basses ready to go at a moment's notice. Super comfortable, perfect length for how I hold the bass. Also a pretty good value compared to other "comfort" straps out there.

    Got this so I could play my Les Paul without injuring myself. Works nicely for that. Only gripe is that I have to extend it to its full length for it to fit me and my guitar, and I'm only 5'9". I thought the complaints that it is too short was coming mainly from kids who want to look cool and have their guitar down at their knees, but the length is definitely going to be an issue for anyone taller than I am who likes their guitar strings even with their belly button, like myself. Otherwise good product and works for me.

    This strap is good for guitars and basses that are heavy. The strap makes the guitar or bass feel much lighter than other straps.
