MuzicLight's quality guitar wall hanger for guitar fits common electric and acoustic necks, and are equipped with soft, non-marring foam around the yoke to protect your headstock. It is affixed to a handsome wood block that mounts to your wall. A mounting kit is included. Once you set the guitar into the yoke, the downward pressure from the guitar's weight triggers a switch that shines a beautiful, warm red color onto your instrument.

    The light is pointed at a slightly off angle so it doesn't really give the advertised effect.

    Used this product to display my Gretsch and I was a bit concerned at first with the small plastic piece to mount to the wall and the product over all as the guitar is a bit on the heavy side. I did not use their anchors as I added a bit of a heavier rated ones. Mounted up good even if I did stay with my hands under it for a few min waiting for something to fail...LOL It held nicely and the lights illuminate pretty well. Just for the style of guitar I set on there I wish the lights were a bit wider as the white around the body really picks up the light. I put a smaller Les Paul up there and the light wraps around the guitar quite well.

    The light stays on whenever a guitar is on the stand. There is no on / off switch.
