Ludwig Atlas Classic Round Throne

Loved everything about it ...it's solid , well made , comfortable, soft ...great product

Been playing for over 30 years and have tried quite a few thrones in my day. To be honest I was looking to purchase a Pork Pie but they did not have the exact one I was looking for. Since my Rock n Sock broke I needed something and didn't want another R n S nor was willing to wait for a Pork Pie special order. So I ordered this one from reviews I found elsewhere. This was one I had looked at once before but it never had enough reviews for me to say "yeah I think this is the one" so I took a shot. Well when it arrived it was packed well. I play Ludwig drums so I didn't have to much concerns. Upon opening it the seat look nice better then the picture. The base was packaged by itself in a box within. When I got that out the box the weight of the base is what I noticed first. It felt well built and not cheap. The seat fit the post a little looser then I would have liked but you can't have everything. Now I'm pretty average... I'm 6' -190# and sitting on the seat for the first time I was impressed how soft it was and the circumference was bigger then I expected....actually a lot bigger. I could definitely see sitting on it for a show would no problem. Well after getting it behind the kit and adjusting the height (which I only made a few turns) I'm sure there is plenty of adjustment for anyone. After about 2 hours of playing I had no discomfort and am very pleased with the purchase. Thanks Ludwig for making great products and thank you Guitar Center for fast delivery.
