For the price I was amazed
I own several top of line keyboards such as a Korg Triton, Ensonic ZR-76, and others. But I needed a low cost portable to take to motel rooms while on business trips to entertain myself and to practice. I was amazed what $300 bought. The voices are excellent for the money, and I have found myself taking this little monster to jam sessions rather than lug my weighted 88 key Triton. No it don't sound exactly as good, but it weighs less than the case for the Triton! You won't be sorry for the money. If you have the extra money and are looking for something a little more substantial, I found the Yamaha 625 has the same voices with 88 weighted keys and a much better internal sound system. Either the 225 or the 635 REALLY sounds good when through a nice PA system.

Yamaha Portable Grand
I just got my Yamaha YPG-225 Keyboard, and I love it. The key action is decent, but the sound quality is unlike anything else in this price range. It is packed with features, some useful (the 6-Track sequencer is great) and some a bit superfluous (489 voices is a little much), but overall, this is the best keyboard you can get for this money, and I would reccommend it to anyone.

YPG-225
This is an excellent keyboard that i think is good to start and grow with, so it will last a while. Its not just for active musicians either, its great for a hobbyist too. It has tons of cool features that also keep you amused. It doesn't have the most keys but still enough to play pretty, uch anythign you like. It also looks and feels like a real piano. The sound quality is wonderful and the polyphony is large enough to play reall dense chords. One feature i like alot is the grading system, so you can get a real grade on how well you play a song. Its not the best, but its an excellent keyboard and I'd keep it for a while.

A Good, Solid Keyboard
I purchased this keyboard a little while back, and have since been very happy with it. It serves its purpose of replacing a piano quite well. I like all of the features of this keyboard. They are quite handy. I also like all the different voices this keyboard can produce. I don't use them all the time, but it is nice to have them. Overall, this is a great keyboard. It is built great and I really recommend purchasing it.
