  • Beware

As reviewed by Richard Dillon on 7/4/2011

This monitor has made me aware of the folly of mixing without a subwoofer: Notes that weren't an issue before suddenly appear in the mix. Now I have to go back and check all of my mixes. This is especially evident when working with piano samples (Modart, Ivory 2) and V piano.

This thing added some serious bump to my home studio. Clarity and power are great for the size.

  • BOOM!

As reviewed by Jay on 5/18/2011

In the studio: Perfect if not more than necessary. I usually have this sub on volume 1 to 2 out of 10 max. I recently played a DJ gig that the subs didnt come through on, so out of desperation I brought this with to the gig. It shook the room and added the most excellent low end I could imagine. The kicker is that I only had this sub on volume 4 out of 10. I was blown away.
