Yamaha CM500 sound great

These are a great headset and headphones the mic is very accurate and non noisy. The headphones themselves have an impdence of 120 so you really need a headphone amp to really get the most out of these. Once driven with the correct amp they are unbelievable and give the Bose Tri-ports a run for their money.

Yamaha CM500 sound quality

At a price point of 39.99 the CM500 headphones are built so well you can litteraly throw them at the wall and they will not break I tried. The sound quality is very good for a closed headphone it appears that they are using 50mm drivers as the base is awesome. with the higher Impedance load to get the most of the headphones you will need a headphone amp of sometype as these headphones really need the juide but once you give them what they want they reward you will a very transparent no colored sound. I just put away my Ministry of sound DJ 1001's and these are now my favorite closed can headphones unbeatable quality and sound that surpasses much more expensive headphones such as the lower end sennheisers.

Works

These headphones do what they're made for, not much else. The sound quality is decent, a little bass heavy, and the mic sounds ok for just chatting online. If you're looking for decent quality, these would be a good thing to try
