  • Beautiful Instrument

As reviewed by Adil Ali on 11/19/2010

I've been playing classical for a lil over 10 years now and I haven't come across a guitar this subtle and perfect in more than just one way... I had been looking for a low priced classical to travel with and after a lotta research, picked the perfect one... looked at some cordobas, lucernos, ibanez, and by far the yamaha stood out....it sounds great, its got a great original finish, a lighter body than most other classical guitars, a thick neck which makes it easy to play for someone with bigger hands and fingers... needless to say its an absolute pleasure strumming this toy and for this price its a steal... 5 stars all the way

  • competition winner!

As reviewed by Brandon on 4/9/2011

I bought this guitar 4 years ago and it has done way more than expected. I bought this guitar to use in a event called solo and ensemble at my high school. Once a year i would play a classical solo for a judge and he would rate me on my playing. From freshman year to senior year, i went to state all four years and won gold. The tone and playability of this guitar is amazing! If you want a guitar that will go all the way, this is for you.

  • Really great guitar and very affordable

As reviewed by guitarbuyer on 7/16/2007

great guitar. the only thing that might help or be a setback depending on your needs is that the neck is very wide. for me its great but if you have smaller fingers or fingers that dont stretch you might want to think twice. besides the neck its a really great guitar. good quality...but thats yamaha. it doesnt have a cutout but for $200 you cant expect that. so if you're looking for an affordable classical-acoustic guitar with a clean pretty sound. you should definetly consider this guitar.
