Buy it!

I've used this box with my fender stratocaster which has an auto grounding feature which cause my guitar to buzz loudly through the mains. My band tried everything to make the buzz go, even mike-ing my amp. Finally we plugged in this direct box and for the first time my guitar went through clear. I highly recommend this box to any who ask because of its reliability and performance.

Whirlwind IMP 2

I have owned the Whirlwind IMP 2 Standard Direct Box for well over a decade now and it still works.I like that it has a thru put, that little feature has helped me a lot in studio and in live situations.When I record I like to mic and direct inject so as to have to totally different sounding guitar tracks to mess with.All my electric/acoustics go into the IMP 2 before they reach the mixer.Sometimes I mic the acoustic as well as DI it.A good solid product you can depend on!!!

Made in Heaven

I have 6 of these di's at my church and these little guys are the best. I use one on a bass, one on an acoustic, one on a key board, one on a marshal half stack, and 2 on an electric drumset. These things are the best, we have used the same ones for over 6 years.
