I'm a big BIG fan of fuzz pedals. I have a EHX BM pie reissue, wicker and op amp, EQD cloven hoof, Blackout effects musket, Walrus Jupiter and a Way Huge swollen pickle(an extremely close second!). I love them all and I use them all. The one I'm always going back to is the Russian Pickle. There's just something about it, I can't quite put my finger on it. Some say it lacks mids, which I suppose it does, but that's character of this pedal. I guess you could always EQ it to add some mids, but I find that if I crank the tone control, I'm good. To each their own. I can goose it with a distortion pedal set with the gain very low and I can achieve a cool chuggy metal tone. I can't say enough about this pedal.
