Vic Firth Headphones Are Great!

I bought the Vic Firth Isolation Headphones about 2 weeks ago, and have been really pleased with them. They cut out the noise from my drums while I practice to songs for gigs off my iPod, or I can simply practice with my band using them as ear protection, alot more comfortable than earbuds that's for sure. Perfect not only for drummers, but any other musician.

THIS HEADPHONES LITTERALLY ROCK!

The only thing I do when I'm not playing with my band is play to music. And before I got these headphones I was litterally blowing out my ears. I really don't want to be deaf when I'm older so I got the headphones. They block out the sound so well, I practically feel like I'm all alone when I play. But it's enough so you can still hear yourself play.

Great Headphones

Get them. These headphones are amazing. They cut out all the excess noise, as well as a muffling the good noise. They really help you get in line with a bass player. Their best function is playing with cd's or the radio. You can hear the music perfectly and get your timing down without having to blast out the music. They're great for all practicing situations as well as recording, go for it.

They certainly do their job.

These headphones block most of the noise of your drumset well, and are VERY comfortable. The sound quality is good enough so that I use it on plane trips with my ipod. However, it is hard to hear the bass drums through these. I play on a double bass set, and sometimes when I'm trucking at around 160 bpm, It all just sounds like continuous bass, and it trips me up. All around good headphones though.

In your head

I get a lot of use out of these. While practicing playing my drums I hook these up to my Boss Dr. Beat metronome and they isolate the metronome from other sounds. It makes it so nice just having that in my head away from other distractions to just jam with my own thoughts. Good buy for every drummer.
