Im a mobile DJ, I purchased 5 of these for accent lighting on my lighting truss. Dmx led lighting is great! no heat, they are small yet put out enough light to make people think they are much larger. Take the time to program these with a DMX controler and you can put on an breathtaking light show that no one will forget. going out now to get 8 more for uplighting cant beat the price.

I purchased 8 of these, and they are perfect! Work great, lightweight, easily controlled with the Chauvet obey 3 lighting board. These lights strobe, manually control, sound active with macros. Spend the money. You'll thankyourself in the future. Colors are bright! Easy setup, Easy takedown. Buy the 10' dj lighting truss, and you have a lightshow. Every product has a few that past QC. Don't let the other reviews turn you off this product.

Ok this light is bright and great when it works, I bought 2 of them, one works great and the other I am on the 3rd return because of a strip of diodes not working. All 3 have had the same problem woth one complete strip of diodes not working at all.

I bought 1 unit as a trial, while the colors are nice and rich, and the white is fairly well mixed, the unit was not very bright. For some applications this may be adequate. Guitar Center has a good return policy, so I recommend trying the light for yourself; the price is very tempting.

I bought four of these along with a DMX controller in store and had them shipped to my house. Within 30 minutes of receiving them and hooking them up 2 had failed. One was stuck in sound active mode even when assigned to a channel and the DMX cable plugged in. The other worked for about 20 minutes and then died. The other two lights were decent, but not for the same price as brands like Chauvet and American DJ. The Cases were extremely thin and cheap, in my opinion. Returned and awaiting the arrival of my Chauvet LEDrain 38's.

Great love the colors and the brightness of the lights. Use alone or through a Dimmer/DMX. A great light to have for your band.
