After several weeks of searching for the right guitar, I finally found this one and I am so glad that I bought it. I was looking for something specifically with a low action and this was perfect. I played on several Martin's and other Taylor's but this by far was the best for the money! I would recommend this guitar to anyone, whether you be a beginner or pro!!! Great guitar!!!

My wife TOTALLY surprised me by buying a nice Yamaha FG730 for Christmas. I was amazed. It was a huge upgrade from my 30-yr old nylon string. She said if I wanted to exchange it, she'd be ok. To be honest, I'd always dreamed of a Martin. A friend from high school 30 yrs ago had a D-28 and I remembered feeling special to have played that so many years ago. I did some in-depth, on-line comparisons, and narrowed my search down on paper to an inexpensive Martin (D1), and a Takamine. When I got to the store, I saw and played the Taylor. I played the others and went home to do more research. I soon realized I was paying a LOT for the Martin name, and to get what I 'wanted' would cost a mint. The Taylor 210e was my choice. I feel like I found a diamond; I do not feel at ALL like I settled. Comparisons of woods, construction and quality put the 210 above the D1; and the sound on the Martin didn't compare. I fall in love every time I open the case and pick her up. It sounds so rich and full. The action is good enough that even my 14-yr old heavy-metal-fan son was impressed! And the electronics make it a blast to hook up to an amp and pretend Iۡm Tim McGraw or John Denver! I didnۡt need to pay to realize I could get a beautiful guitar that would make me smile the whole time Iۡm playing it. Love it! Canۡt put her down! Thanks for the help, Sean, in N Houston.

This guitar is absolutley amazing. Deftinaley worth the money. It has really good bass tones just acoustic but even better plugged in. Taylors use Elixr strings, part of the reason. You'll find that this guitar is pretty heavy which is a good quaility. Also the dreadnought factor rules. It improves the sound very well. Its super loud even without being plugged in. Not to mention the guitar is beautiful in itself. Defintaley the best purchase i've ever made on a guitar, I recommned it to anyone, or any Taylor in general. Its great in-between guitar. If you're a notibaly good guitar player but dont feel youre great enough to spend thousands of dollars

So, first of all Im not from the U.S. but I visit almost every year. I decided to buy the 210e in Portland after Ive been trying it out as I went to LA, San Francisco and Sacramento. So when I got to Portland, I was all set to buy it. IT WAS PERFECT! The thing was, I wasnt able to try it plugged in. So come Sunday. I was down in Seattle playing for a church group. Man. It sounded horrible because the pickuos were unbalanced. The Bass sound was generated so loud, the highs softer and the mid was not generated at all. So after the church gathering. I quickly went to the Guitar Center in Seattle and had it exchanged for a new one. They all thought the problem was weird but if you're down in Seattle they probably still have it now. So I can say I loved the 210e the second time around. hahaha

I have been around high Taylors for a long time. I love the sound and the playability. When you hear a Taylor being played you can always tell itۡs a Taylor and this guitar is no exception. This guitar is a steal! I find it hard to tell a difference between the sound of the 210E and other high end Taylors that cost 2 - 3 times as much. I actually had a not so friendly (thatۡs putting it nicely) assistant manager at guitar center sell me this guitar and normally would not give someone like this the satisfaction of selling me a guitar but I love it so much that I was not going to let a ۡ̏know it allۡݕ_ store AM stand in the way of my new Taylor. Not a fan of Guitar Center but am a fan of this Taylor. If you can get your hands on one then I would recommend jumping all over it!

I just picked up this guitar this past weekend and I haven't put it down since. I tried every acoustic guitar in the fancy room at Guitar Center and this one smoked em' all. I played one chord and I was sold. The tone hands down beat every Gibson and Martin in the room. It had better low end presence without getting muddy at all. Every note shimmered. Not only did it sound great, but its about 1/2 the price of the Gibsons and Martins! The pickup system is pretty cool as well. Very classy looking. Go checkout these 100/200 series Taylors. You will be impressed. I promise!
