The appearance on this guitar is spectacular. The classic disign pickups and the 5 way switch really gives some fat and great single coil sounds as well. The fretboard is so comfortable on this guitar. Playing fast lick as throwing down some challenging chords are no problem with this guitar. The action is so low and the rosewood fretboard gives it a more rounder sound through an amp. I bought the guitar in white and it looks greta as well as plays and sounds great. It is just as good as any Music Man Special guitar.

I got my sterling silo for christmas and it is one hell of a guitar. I've been playing for a little over a year now and I originally had a Squier Strat that came with the beginner package thing and its ok for absolute beginners but since i had gotten better i wanted a guitar that was better. I wanted to pull off pinch harmonics and stuff and with the bridge humbucker its now possible, even with my little squier amp! I love the look of this guitar (got it in black) and the locking tuners are fantastic. Action is a dream and the bridge is nice and sturdy with the included whammy bar. Only problem i had was the e string was not playing on the 2nd and 3rd frets. GC adjusted the trus rod for free for me and i was on my way. All i can say is i love it. And with the price u get it for, its UNBEATABLE! This guitar compares with others in the $1000 range. SO GET IT! NOW!!!
