This stand is the most versitile I have ever used as far as adjustments is concerned. It easily holds my Fantom G7, Korg Karma, and Gaia synth. It takes about 30-60 minutes to do the initial adjustments for the arms, but once that is done the stand is ready for gigging every night. Weight is not an issue--I weigh 200 pounds and the stand supports my weight with no movement at all. Steady, fully adjustable, and easy to set up on the job. What more could a keyboardist want these days? There is no Holy Grail of stands, but this is darn close.
I can save you time today! I did my homework, looked at them all and this is by FAR the best keyboard stand on the market! Let me count the ways, 1-incredibly adjustable, 2-easy to set up, 3-sturdy and not top heavy like others brands-(that are prone to fall forward if on carpet), 4-looks great on stage, 5-collapses in seconds, 6-light weight and 7-comes with a quality bag. Happy gigging!
If you're over 5'9" tall and play standing up, this is not going to work very well. It is solid, although the front definitely needs a cross brace. But, getting your keyboards high enough to play comfortably makes it very difficult to stack 3. And when you have to stack them that close, it makes it hard to change the settings on the bottom two. An additional six inches in height would have helped...
