I wanted a clamp with an L rod. Not a cymbal attachment. However I had an extra L rod at home. I switched it with the cymbal holder. Now it does exactly what I needed.

I bought this mini splash arm and put on one of my cymbal stands. It's a killer piece and perfect for my 8" Paiste splash cymbal I also bought here. It's right under my crash cymbal and over my high hat. Perfect length and exactly what I needed!
Not sure what it's good for.

Used it for parts and pieces. Did not even come close to working for what the sales person told me it was for.

This clamp will also except a 9.5 L Rod Working on my 60's Ludwig kit in hopes of mounting the cymbal back on the original bass drum cymbal holder.(9.5). Again, clamp will tighten on the old orginal L Rod. I used the SPL L Arm (SPH-13) to raise the cymbal a bit. Combo works nicely. So.Clamp accomadates sizes 9.5- 12.5.Good Luck.
