Description

The Sound Percussion Labs D2518SMG Kicker Pro 5-piece drum kit is a scaled-down drum kit built to full-size standards with a loud, toneful sound. It features an 18" kick drum, real multi-ply wood shells, full-size pedals, fully tunable and replaceable top and bottom heads, and black powder-coated hardware. The configuration offers an 18"x14" kick, 12" 10" floor tom, 8"x5" and 10"x5" toms and a 12"x5" snare drum.

The pack also includes a 12" crash/ride, 10" hi-hats, a kick pedal, a drum throne and a pair of sticks (3/4-size). All hardware is included.

I WOULD BUY OR RECOMEND to a freind

the total hieght of the set is about 3 feet and . the bass drum has alot of overtone and ring but all you need to do is to put a pillow or a sheet to muffle it.im 11 and about 4 ft 10 it is a little small for me but its okay. the snare sounds awsome. the cymbals are okay for me the drums dont have a super big booming sound. the volume of it is fine for playing in the house if you dont play really hard.the cymbals will get dents and cracks for they are not high quality cymbals they are moderate quality

Trashy Kit

When I first got the kit the box was beaten up and one of the toms where chipped on the inside thankfully there was one in the store and I was able to take that one home. Once I got to playing it did not take me long to notice that the kit was built in some funky dimensions and very hard to get to sound good. The cymbals are complete trash and are not to be taken seriously. The crash would bend inside out and have to be popped back in to have proper sound. The toms are to small to have a lower tone and to big to have a higher tone same for the floor tom. The kit is just alright in the end..... nothing has broken yet but in order to actually have any slice of fun with it your gonna have to buy new cymbals and heads as soon as possible. Frankly would say not worth the money.

    This was purchased as a gift for a young relative. He is thrilled with it. The sound is pretty good. Nice appearance. The throne is a little wimpy.

    I bought this for my 6 year old. I was very hesitant because of the negative reviews, however, I quickly realized that the negative reviews are not justified considering what this set is really meant for. It sounds very awesome and is a perfect fit for my 6 year old and even my 13 year old can play it comfortably. I think the bad reviews may be coming from adults that intended on using it as a portable kit. Anyone who is buying this for their child between the age of 5 and 10 will not regret it. It also went together like a breeze and came with extra screws. The small tom drum and snare came already assembled which made it easy to use for a reference on tuning and assembly of the other drums in the package. I do highly recommend this drum set for a child. The symbols sound good too for what they are.

    I purchased the XSR series almost a year ago for my church and the drummer at my church loves it. The fast crash is on point and it sounded very well. The only cons is that don't the heavy drummers do not purchase these. It will brake and will cost you hundred of some dollars. Thank God for insurances.
