I like it but like someone else mentioned, it has a bad smell, but it's not really noticeable until you stick your nose close to it.

Smell is Horrible

Comments about Sound Percussion Labs Dual-Surface Practice Pad:

I bought the smaller version of this pad, and while it's fine to play on, the smell is just terrible. In my small office, the odor is literally burning my eyes. I've had the pad for a couple weeks now, and it's just not dissipating. I've tried washing it with soap water and even solvents to no avail. This is going back to the store.

Comments about Sound Percussion Labs Dual-Surface Practice Pad:

Just purchased this for my daughter today for vacation practice. She started playing it and realized both sides were bubbling! Needless to say we are returning and won't try this one again.

Comments about Sound Percussion Labs Dual-Surface Practice Pad:

i got this practice pad for my birthday a week ago and its amazing. the gray side is a gummy side great for building speed. and the neoprene side is a good work out and helps with accuracy and precision. if u were to ask what kind of practice pad gives you a good price and great quality i would really recomend this one.

Very nice pad, almost identical its competitors

By Joey

from Georgia

Comments about Sound Percussion Labs Dual-Surface Practice Pad:

Very nice pad, both sides feel very good. The thick grey side is very bouncy but also very quiet, especially when stacked on another pad. The hard black side feels and sounds great and offers more of a workout. Feels very similar to its main competitor pads (HQ and VF double siders) On the downside, the wood sounds a little hollow compared to other top name pads, though it is only noticable when the pad is either on a stand or on your lap. Its not bad, just different. When on a table or stacked on another pad it sounds amazing.
