Practice at night, what a thought.
Most drummers have experienced the problem of practicing in apartments or late at night. Drums are loud and penetrating but Sound Percussion's Mutes quiet the sound, yet retain the feel of the drum itself.

These pads do just what they are supposed to do, quiet down the drums. While they don't totally silence the sound, they do significantly reduce it. You won't get enough stick rebound to do any fast double stroke rolls or anything, but there's enough there that it still feels like your playing a drum. Great product.
I have pretty much all of the mutes you would buy in the Sound Percussion mute pack. They allow me to play late at night and with very little noise heard out side. I have not had one complaint from anyone about my playing anymore. Not a perfect solution because you do lose some rebound. I had a few HQ mutes before and these feel much nicer. Only downside I had was my bass drum mute. It didn't have the cutout for the pedal so it chewed up the mute in that location. But it is all better now cause I made that "Y" cut you see in the pic. Also w/ bass mute I bought didn't have anything to keep it from folding in half so I had to rig something up. But in the pack it seems to have hardware.
the drum mutes are just great. my parents where in the other room and they didnt even know i was playing. i dont have the bass drum mute so i dont know what that is like, but everything else is just great. but, it kinda mad practice boring. its like playing an electric with out any sound. but still very good
