This Sound Percussion 5-piece kit provides full, deep midrange and lows that you can feel as well as hear. The setup features 12" x 9" and 13" x 10" toms, 16" x 16" floor tom, 22" x 16" kick drum, plus a 14" x 5-1/2" matching snare. Its heavy-duty tom mounts with memory locks make for quick and easy set-up every time.

The 4-pack of hardware features double-braced hardware with ratchet tilters and includes a hi-hat stand, snare stand, bass drum pedal, and straight cymbal stand. Cymbals sold separately.

  • Really Great Drums

    I got this set for Christmas just as a cheap set to play on to see if I liked playing drums. It is perfect. The heads are solid and the sound is pretty good. I love this set. It's a great set for a great price and it's really good for beginners. If you dont have the money for a expensive set definitely check this one out.

  • Great for a fixer-upper

    This set is a really good buy for a beginner but can also sound semi-professional with a few upgrades. I have all evans ec2 coated heads on my toms and an evans ec2 reverse dot snare head with E-rings and they sound very deep and powerful. The cymbals that come with this kit are flat out terrible. I would recommend Zildjian ZHT's (great cymbal pack for beginners) to fix that no problem. Overall it's a great buy if you're willing to invest about a hundred bucks for new heads.

  • Not Bad

    I got this drum set this year. It is a really good value for beginners. However, I had a lot of problems within the first few weeks of playing it. When I was putting it together, one of the claws for the bass drum snapped when I was tightening the lugs. Guitarcenter said it was faulty metal and that it happens sometimes. They gave me a bag of new ones which was awesome and I went home and began jamming right away. I would recommend getting Remo heads soon after buying, because this kit sounds terrible. It is great for practicing but you can get better sounds with Remo heads, and they aren't expensive. Also, a couple weeks after playing, a spring on my bass pedal broke! I maintained all of my equipment but sound percussion has cheap hardware. Overall this is a good buy for beginners. You just might have a little bit of a hard time maintaining the hardware and getting the right sound. It's kind of like buying a used car when you are a teenager.
