Great Microphone!

Comments about Shure Beta 98H/C Clip-On Condenser Microphone:

I'm really enjoying this microphone. It sounds wonderful and makes it so easy to record my alto saxophone. I read a review elsewhere on the internet that complained about the thin cable coming out of the microphone that could be easily damaged. I don't think it'll be a problem, though. At the end of the thin cable is a longer-than-normal male XLR connector with a sturdy clip. You can connect a regular mic cable to it, clip it to a pocket on your pants, and then coil up the thin cable and hang it on your waist where it's safe. Anyway, I'd highly recommend this microphone, at least for saxophone players.
