Sound Isolating Design
The role of the included sound isolating sleeves is twofold: blocking ambient noise (iup to 37dB) and ensuring a comfortable customized fit. Because every ear is different, the Fit Kit includes three sizes (S, M, L) of the flex and black foam sleeves. Experiment with the size and style that creates the best fit for you. A good seal is key to optimizing sound isolation and bass response as well as maximizing comfort during extended wear.

I can't say enough about these earphones. I am a drummer that made the switch to in-ear monitoring about six months ago and have never looked back. Starting with cheap earbuds and then moving up to a pair of Klipsch S4 earbuds, I have been looking at these for awhile and finally decided to try them out because of the list of nice features they offer for the price. I wish I would have started out with these.
My Klipsch's sounded very good but these blow them away! The bass is unbelievable and the clarity and mix of highs, mids, and lows is perfect IMO. These Shures are so comfortable that I actually forget that I have them in. The way they sit in your ear and the cord comes out the front and goes over the top of the ear makes them look very professional. The replaceable cord is also a huge plus. These are simply great earbuds for either general music listening or an entry level IEM system. I am currently using these with a Behringer 802 mixer, for monitor feeds, and I couldn't be happier. Stop looking and buy these now if you've been thinking about it!
I've been drumming for 7 years, and been playing with live in-ears for about a year and a half at my church. I've tried two pairs from v-moda, which were okay, but this is my third pair of earphones, and they are AWESOME! I got the clear model specifically cause I don't want them to stick out when I play. They seem to have a great balance between the lows, mids, and highs. There is a PERFECT amount of bass too. Not too little, not too much. Shure puts so much quality into their products, you can't go wrong with getting Shure. They stay in your ears great, isolate you from outside noises almost completely. They're great for just listening to music, or live gigs. I look forward to playing many more live shows with them!
We purchased the Shures after renting a monitor system to try it out and the Buds they sent with it were Sennheisers which were good enough for us to decide to purchase the monitor system but we weren't wild about the buds. after reading several reviews and knowing the quality of Shure products our leader decided on the Shure SE215's. After the first use they were a hit! They now carry them all the time and use them for everything. In fact I'm the sound man and our bass player is going to buy me a pair because he was so impressed with the bass capability. Not to mention the 2 year warranty if anything happens to them they replace them! If your a sound man and want to make the band happy definitely buy these buds!
