Blows me away! The power that is put into this thing can crush anyone in the crowd or in the car with the cd player cranked! The ceramic magnets utilize the tone, versatility, and gain that comes from the pickup. It isn't great for clean, because the ceramic pickups put power and sometimes can put it in your clean setting, but when you crank the gain up you really can do massive solos and clear articulate riffs that have high ends, but also can be tamed in the mid-range. Overall this pickup is great for rock to metal and it packs a lot of punch into your guitar.

  • if ya can't stand the heat....

I swapped out the stock bridge pickup in my Ibanez ART100 for one of these, and I gotta give props to Seymour Duncan! I needed a pickup that really grabs pinch harmonics. I've heard/read alot of great things about this pickup and its all true. It pairs well with tubes amps mahogany bodies, boosting its natural sustain and adding more balls and bite to my tone. Rolling the volume back a little helps take the edge off for cleans if its a major concern to you. Now I can't wait to drop a '59 in the neck.

  • Great pickup!

I got the pickup for my bridge position of my Epiphone Les Paul and all I can say is wow. This pickup is awesome for anything from rock to death metal. It is extremely versatile, but I would not suggest it for anything less than texas blues. It has a lot of bite that can't truely be controlled with the volume or tone knob.
