  • simply amazing

this is the best bass i have ever played. EVER!! i own the red version and its just stunning how beautiful the bass is. extremely versatile, i use it for everything from jazz, to metal, to praise team at my church. it works for everything!! i highly recommend putting strap-locks on it though, the strap button at the bridge area is in a weird spot so the strap slips off easily. and the stock strings are terrible, i use ernie ball regular slinky's and they improved the sound immensly. other than that its an amazing bass.

I've played a few basses before, and this one by far is the best I've ever laid my hands on. I saw this at a Guitar Center in Virginia, and after playing it for 4 hours and asked if I wanted it, I said, "Absolutely!" On top of that, it was on sale. It cuts right through my Line 6 and screams down the halls. Wonderful bass for heavy stuff, and if you want to annoy your neighbors, then this is surely the bass for anyone. But if you want a timid sound with little satisfaction, buy a Fender. Schecter Guitar Research out did themselves with this affordable quality bass. I give it 11 stars.

  • sturdy and versitile

i play mostly metal and this guitar has been dishing it out for me for 2 years now. never broke, never had bad wiring, or any problems with the pickups. solid construction gives amazing sustain, and the pick ups deliver awesome deep sound without sounding like muffled crap. they are amazing for metal and hard rock. if your like me, go spend the money and put elixer mediums or heavys on this bad boy. you will not be let down
