Church Hellraiser...lol
I am not you typical church musician.... I've had this guitar for 6 months. I really Like it. I play out every week and it sounds great. The active EMG's are fantastic. These EMG's are the things squeels are made of. Great sustain. Rippin leads. The coil tap is very useful for clean picking. The feel of the neck is one of the great things about it. It is kind of thick. A thin neck wears my hand out and I don't have that problem with this guitar. I also like the quilted maple top. It looks great. I am shopping for the exact same guitar with a FloydRose right now. I have been studying Trem Techniques and have come close to mastering it so it is time for an upgrade from my Ibanez. I know these active pick ups will scream dive bomb harmonics. so the EMG 81TW/89 is a must for me. There is no other option. I came across this and figured my review would help someone. If you come from a rock/metal background you will find no better combination than this guitar with a Line 6 Pod X3 live!!

I would buy the guitar again if the quality control improved
The guitar was great but the inlays had gaps all over the fretboard, other than that great guitar but keep in mind I in total received two and both had the same problem.

I maybe late to the party since this is a discontinued guitar from 2009, but this package had everything I was looking for! Nearly everything from top to bottom on this guitar feels, looks, and sounds premium. The action is very low and consistent across the whole neck. The pickups of course sound best when cranking the gain on your bridge pickup, but I find myself picking up this guitar more than my others because of how many tones you can achieve. With the option of coil splitting, and adjusting tone and volume knobs this guitar is great for any clean, lead, overdriven, or distorted tones you are aiming for. I see from other reviews that people have issues with the locking tuners. It could be hit or miss with each guitar but in the 6 months I have had this guitar I have had no issues. If holding perfect tuning is that important to you then maybe look at the Floyd Rose version? Over all, the thing looks killer, sounds killer, plays very comfortably, and was well worth the price tag.

Own a schecter apocalypse, plays just as good . Pickups are not as good but otherwise no trade off in tone or playability.
High quality and great for metal!

Looove this guitar! Only concern is it seems to go a bit out of tune despite locking tuners. Constantly tuning up the D string as it goes flat.

I love this Guitar The look the feel the sound. I have played many guitars from cheap Memphis to Gibson, and this thing takes the cake. Nice look very well made and playes very nice for the money its like a 4000$ guitar. Hellraiser and the guitar itself looks like fire. Love it I just got a new 2016 Marshall half stack to go with it. When I say its good I mean it.
