I picked this up because I needed a sturdier case to take my Jackson Soloist on a flight. The SKB was more than large enough to fit (even the pointy headstock had extra room) so I stuffed a couple of polish cloths in there to keep the axe from moving around. No problems. The latches are solid and the handle is comfortable to carry. The case took going through four flights like a champ. Get this for your LTD/ESP, Jackson, or Ibanez, you won't regret it.
This case will fit my Strat and my Schecter C-1 Classic like a glove. It also fits 35 other makes/models per the SKB website and is one of the best products I've ever bought. The only critique that I have is there is limited storage space (I bet some straps may not fit!). Other than that, it's a dream. I know my guitars will be forever grateful for incredible safety, comfort and reliability they will have in their home away from home!
I own several different cases for strats and teles. At first I was skeptical but have come to really like this case. The latches are easy to use and the case is well built. It fits my strats and tele very nicely. The case is very light compared to the traditional Fender tweed/tolex cases. The only negative is the lack of a compartment with a lid to hold picks or trem bars. For this reason I keep the tele in the case and put my strats in cases with compartments.
