Just got them last week and gigged with them over the weekend. They sound great so far. No big deal but something of note, the tubes have the "JJ" logos stenciled on them and the Ruby name is basically stuck on over the "JJ" logo. I am using them in a Mesa Boogie Noman 45 4x10

My 2nd Ruby Tube in my preamp. Better than stock tube, smooth tone, good for playing music from computer and for amplified MXL 990 Microphone input into ham radio. Lasted about a year or more with a lot of use-long life.

In Spite of all the danger

Ordered at the same time I ordered a heavy duty mike stand. They just tossed it in the box and it was rattling around in there when I opened it at the local Guitar Center. The sales guy's eyes were big as saucers when he saw that. Just a word of warning: Guitar Center seems to treat the 6 month manufacturer's guarantee as carte blanche to save money on packing. Oh yeah, the tube worked fine in the little ART Mike Pre-amp (the cheap one) and a lot of noise went away.
