The Roland HPD-15 HandSonic Percussion Controller has a pressure-sensitive 10" rubber pad designed to be played with bare hands. The HandSonic has 15 parts that play up to 15 sounds simultaneously.

Roland equips the HPD-15 percussion controller with 600 sounds from Latin America, Asia, and India, plus electronic drums and sound effects. Create and save your own sounds in 80 user patches.

Powerful realtime HandSonic controls include a D-Beam, dual ribbon controllers, and 3 control knobs. Also features a built-in sequencer with practice patterns and metronome, MIDI In/Out, dual-trigger input, and hi-hat control jack. The Roland HPD-15 is 15-7/8" x 15-7/8" x 3-7/8" and weighs 7 lbs.

  • Gig monster!

    I've played with singer/songwriters on guitar, small ensembles, backed up theatrical productions and played with full bands doing anything from rock and pop, R&B, jazz-funk and improvisational music, along with scoring video and film. The HPD-15 is at home with them all. The sound sets are huge! Having a world of percussion and drum sets at your fingertips is monstrous and the stage footprint is miniscule compared to a full acoustic percussion set-up. Being able to connect right to the mix in is beautiful...I can always be heard through the mix and even the chimes and bells and little shaker sounds can cut through in a heavy performance. Every gig, without fail, people come up to me and ask "what the heck is that thing you were playing?....you get so many sounds out of that thing!!" Unbeatable features, band and crowd-pleasing sounds and stage presence....(people FREAK OUT when you hit the D-Beam controller!!!!). BUY THIS - NOW!

  • Its a must for Drum Circles

    I play in several drum circles in my area every month and after packing numerous hand drums with me for years I decided the HPD-15 would be a better way to go.My kit is made up of the Roland HPD-15, PM-30 amp, 2 FS-5U pedals to control the reverb and Multi Effects, PDS-10 Pad Stand and the CB-HPD carrying bag.Its a great compact package that now provides me all the different sounds and control I could possible every want.The 8 loops are very useful to introduce new patterns to a drumming circle. The overall impact to the circles of the HPD-15 is huge and has added considerable enjoyment to my drumming experience.
