Super Sweet Seat!

I deliberated quite a bit over my throne purchase and I sure am glad I sprung for this Roc N Soc Original Saddle Trone. It's solid, comfortable, and reasonably priced for the excellent quality you get. The seat is just soft enough to be comfy, but firm enough for support. The seat shape minimizes leg restriction, and there's definitely something inherently comfortable about that tractor seat shape - heck, they used to make them out of solid metal and farmers still sat on them all day. In fact its so comfy, it feels less like sitting on a stool and more like sitting on someone else's butt. Funny image but its true. The hardware is good, easy adjustment and a sturdy lock nut. I am 5'6" and I have it adjusted in the bottom half of the height range, I am sure it would be good for someone moderately shorter or significantly taller than me. This seat has threaded holes in the bottom so you can add the backrest later if you want (I was planning to, but the seat is comfy enough without it, so I didn't). The velvety top material has good traction and sweat dissipation. When shopping for this one, I also liked the Pork Pies, but I found them to be a little too cushy and, although many of their designs are fun, they're a little cheezy for my taste. This RocNSoc has a simple classic look. All in all this is a sweet seat.

Your butt will thank you!

I have been the proud owner of this throne for over 2 years and I must say it has got to be one of the best purchases or my drumming career. The seat its self is very soft and comfortable and the saddle style gives your legs support but freedom to move at the same time. This throne is worth every penny.

Greatest Seat I've Ever Used

I the first time i sat down on this seat, I thought "Oh man, this is probably the most comfortable seat I've ever used." I then bought the seat and I've been using it ever since. Everyone that sits on it has the same reaction that I had and all want it. If your looking for a great seat, look no further. This is the one. BUY THIS SEAT!!!

Like sitting on a cloud

Those who play many hours a week know how important it is to be comfy in your throne. Bad support leads to discomfort, which can lead to serious physical problems. This throne is so comfy and supportive. The seat itself is very solid, yet not rock hard like some thrones can be. The stand is probably the strongest I've ever seen on a throne. This thing can withstand a nuclear blast. I also have to re-agjust it many times when I break down my kit, and the clamps/hardware hold up fine to that.
