Gas Lift Thrones allow the stability of motion thrones without the motion. The Roc-N-Soc Lunar Series Gas Lift Drum Throne has 19"-27" height adjustability.
The Throne is the most comfortable seat I have ever sat in. Before, I would have cramps from sitting in my old seat, but now, I can Play for hours and never hurt! The hydrolic lift is also great for quick adjustment! All around it is a great seat and the best you can buy!!

I had my old $20 throne for about 5 years when it finally broke. i needed to go with something heavy duty especially since I weigh 230 pounds. I baught this at the guitar center in Maple Grove, Minnesota with a backrest. As soon as i sat on it, I was in heaven. It is very easy to adjust and the seat is very comfy. In my opinion it is the best throne on the market. It may be spendy but it is worth it!

i have been drumming for 17 years now and i have been switching thrones for a while now. this throne is a really good throne for people that want comfort if your going to be playing for a long period of time. i usually play for 4 hours straight with my band and i feel like im sitting on a cloud. i would recommend getting this throne to anyone.

We actually ordered this for our computer use. It is used as our chair. My son uses one during his guitar lesson and he raved about them! We will be getting him one for his guitar use too. It is so easy to put together and comfy! It actually slides very easily on our floor without having to buy wheels to add to it. It's very worth the price!

Over the past 17 years of my life I have gone through quite a few drum thrones. This roc-n-soc throne is by far the greatest thing I have ever sat my butt on. The comfort alone makes me happy, and when you add the back rest its better than a lazy-boy!!!! I play in a metal band so there is lots of double kicks, and this throne doesn't slow me down one bit. Very sturdy and very comfortable I'd say the only thing I don't like is that it is not very easily transportable. The legs are stationary and bulky, but it still packs in with my gear OK. I would recomend this throne to anyone novice or pro.
