I bought a Roland Fantom X8 in March of this year..WOW. what a keyboard porobally the heaviest keyboard i've ever bought.long story short, I tried out a couple of different cases and nothing could compare to the durability to this one. especially for the price. Kudos to Road Runner 5 Out of 5

this is not a 5 star case in my opinion. but it is close. i have this case for my korg tr88. on the plus side it is solid and is well constructed. the puzzle piece foam allows you to custom fit to your board. which is nice. on the down side it is heavy as all get out. with my board in the case it weighs 110 lbs. the tr only weighs 55 lbs(according to the korg website). there is only one other thing to mention. it smells funny when you first buy it. the only reason i mention is that some people have sensitivity to smells. probably the material to make the foam. but you can not go wrong. i have had this for about a year.

i had bought a korg tr88 this year and i needed a case for it. i really did not want to play huge money for a case and this one was really nice. it is not the skb but then again it is less expensive. the inside is custom fit d.i.y. you remove the velcoed foam and fit your application. so that is actually really nice. only complaint is that it smells horrible for a while. strong chemical smell from the foam i would guess. the other not real complaint per se is that it is heavy. my board in the case is 110 lbs. it is hard to get it in my truck by myself. also for cheap insurance get a cover for the instrument. i keep mine on at all times unless my hands are not on the ivory. it keeps the foam off the top on the instrument. so that may save some scratches over time. especially if you play it a lot and have to move it.
