Proline FS200AE Heavy-Duty A-Frame Guitar Stand

Description
Rugged All-Steel Construction
With its rugged, all-steel construction, the Proline heavy-duty a-frame guitar stand is durable enough to withstand the rigors of the road while also keeping your guitar practiced when onstage or out in the open. The all-steel construction provides the durability and strength for musicians who are on-the-go and need tour-worthy quality combined with a compact footprint. The guitar stand is also designed so that it doesn’t touch the neck of your guitar, offering even more protection.
Premium Foam Padding Protects Your Guitars
The Proline heavy-duty a-frame guitar stand features premium foam padding that cradles your instrument and protects your guitars, not stain them. Additionally, the slide-resistant rubber feet will hold the stand in place, so you don’t have to worry about your guitars toppling over. The slide-resistant rubber feet also keep the stand where you put it on busy stages and studios.
Fold-Flat Design for Easy Transport
With a top hinge design that allows the stand to fold flat, the FS200AE is designed to fit both acoustic and electric guitars. The Proline heavy-duty a-frame guitar stand’s ability to be folded flat makes for easier transport when you’re headed to the gig or the practice session.

I would buy it again in a heartbeat
Only complaint, and it is fairly minor, is if it was a little less of an angel so it took less space or could be closer to a wall. But it does the job and holds the guitar securely, and is versatile enough for any electric or acoustic guitar. I would buy it again in a heartbeat. I prefer it over my current stand with the neck support (seems less flimsy), and it's great for home, studio or live.

Not so great for heavier basses
I have a heavier bass, about 10 pounds. After a few months, I noticed that the pad for the neck of the bass had slid down, and one of the arms holding the body had bent. I had to move the pad and bend the arm back. I think this stand would be fine for an acoustic guitar. I'm not sure whether it will hold heavier Les Paul-style guitars for very log.

Foldable sturdy and stable, this guitar stand is a solid investment. It keeps people from putting your guitar against a wall, then tripping over it.
Absolutely I'd buy it again.

I've had other guitar stands in the past, and now they are gone. This is a good, reliable, heavy duty stand I can always depend on.

Can I use this as a cymbal holder? Drummer here and I have seen a few different people using guitar stands as a cymbal "rack" if you will. Seems to be the most cost effective way to store 10+ cymbals
Technically, you could rig something up with the Proline FS200AE A-Frame Guitar Stand to hold a cymbal in a pinch—but it’s not really built for that, and it has some limitations: No actual mount to secure the cymbal by the bell (no threaded post, felt washers, etc.) No height or angle adjustment. Not safe for any kind of playing—any hit would cause wobble or a fall. It’s built for guitar weight distribution, not the focused weight of a mounted cymbal.submitteda year ago
