The ProLine PL-100 Keyboard Stand is a metal x-stand without a clutch mechanism that could wear out over time. Proline's sturdy keyboard stands support medium to full-sized keyboards, as well as DJ gear and mixers. With fully-welded contact points, you get maximum flexibility and support in any rehearsal or performance situation.
This stand is perfect if your keyboard is small and light because the stand is lightweight. I tried to put a heavy keyboard on top and it was not stable.
This is a very faithful stand. I didn't think it would be very balanced at first but the long base legs make up for it (the bars that touch the floor). Makes a good (cheap) gift for a keyboardist friend/relative, and doesn't scratch up your instrument. Thanks Guitarcenter + ProLine!
This thing is preety strong so there is no need to buy a double braced one. Also you can adjust the height of it. This stand is really good.
