I bought this stand a month ago for holding up a bass drum mic. It works great and I am about to buy another one for my guitar cabinet. If you need a heavy duty stand for a shorter application than this is it. Great stand.
I am a drummer in a working classic rock band. We move around often, set up tear down. This stand had been great! Durable, reliable and flexible. I play with a beta 52, and this stand does a great job of holding steady and delivering the results I need. I highly recommend this stand to any drummer that is picky and expects more for less.
This is by far the best deal on a desk top mic stand you can find. Its settings can be adjusted to find jsut about any angle. Its weighted bottom is great because it keeps it from tipping over when a mic is attached. It's a very well made product. I suggest using it with the AKG D 22 Dynamic instrumental mic and the M-Audio Nova Large Diaphragm Condenser mic.
