Calibration The Planet Waves Headstock Tuner defaults to the industry-standard A440 tuning frequency. To adjust the tuner to another setting, simply press the calibrate button on the rear side of the tuner display. With each press of the button, the reference pitch will change in 1Hz increments. Continually press the calibrate button until the pitch you desire shows in the display.

This is the first Headstock Tuner I have ever used. I had seen ads and reviews of other brands and was both skeptical and hopeful about the way they would work? The store was out of the brand I had intended to purchase and they had just received this one from Planet Waves in stock and so recommended I try one out? Do YOU believe in love at first sight? The tuner is light weight, clips on and off my headstock very easily, is a snap and a half to use, and keeps my guitar sounding so good I think I?m dreaming! If you?re looking for a tuner, then this is the one I would recommend to you. It just can?t be beat for the price or for the quality! The only way to improve this product would be to, ummm,ummm, I got nothin'!

Do not believe the negative comments people had to say about this product because they're all "BS" ! I've been using this tuner for about a year now and I've never ever had a single problem with it. Works as advertised. It's 100% and perfectly tunes your guitar !
Dropped it few times but it still holds in one piece, it didn't break at all ! It will definitely break if you beat the crap out of it, just like one of these guys was talking he said it broke on him. Not true ! Any material, if you take good care of it, it will take care of you as simple as that ! So, I recommend buy this tuner, it's the best of the tuners out there, you won't regret it ! Peace !!!
Pros: Nice low profile is what I wanted.
Cons: I have several installed on my guitars and average use is about twice a week. They all seem to last only two months per battery. Considering the cost($6.00) batteries...it's getting ridiculous to get new battery for each tuner. I just use one tuner now for my guitars.
I prefer to have the tuner behind the headstock closer to the nut. At this location audience do not see the tuner and the your hand does not block the view of the tuner when you are tuning. This tuner cannot be installed behind the headstock next to the nut!
Get one that last longer per battery!
