The PV 215D speaker system includes an internal power amp to drive its own speakers. It supplies up to 800 watts peak available power to the internal speakers. The amplifier is equipped with DDT compression, providing protection from excessive amplifier clipping and the consequent distortion. A balanced input to the preamp/EQ electronics consists of one combo female XLR and 1/4" TRS phone jack. A Contour switch provides some bass and treble lift when used as a background music source, etc. A Link Out 1/4" phone jack provides a pre-level send for linking multiple units together.

I bought two of these, two of the single 15" woofers and two of the 18" bass speakers....yup, i'm happy! This is the loudest setup I have heard! They are hooked up to a Peavey FX2 mixer...I had them outside the other day, Van Halen "Eruption" came on and the cops were here 15 minutes later!!! I have no professional use for the setup. I just wanted it...speakers turned up half-way, mixer was on about 7 or 8! I live on the outskirts of town, friends 3/4 of a mile away called me and requested songs...definitley worth the money! Easy to set up and OHHHHHH so nice! If you're looking, you can't go wrong with this stuff! I also have two mic's plugged in and I'm almost ready for "The Voice"...lol

I just bought these and used them one time at a bar gig. and so far im impressed with them they are loud but not to loud ( there is a reason why i say it like that lol ) they deliver a little bass not to much but adding subs to these i think would be amazing. I do love the way they sound.
