This stand is surprisingly sturdy given that it's the cheapest stand I could find. I use it for my Keystation Pro 88, which is a rather large and heavy midi controller (just under 50 lbs I believe), and the stand has stood firmly in place thus far. Only time will tell how reliable it is, but I have no complaints as of yet.

This product was used for just a few weeks on stage when the legs started to become wobbly. After tightening one of the legs with an allen wrench, the mounting block, which was attached by an inferior, small 1/8" spot weld, had broken loose. I'll repair it with epoxy and make it usable again, but...REALLY? DON"T BUY THIS STAND!

    Comments about On-Stage Stands KS7190 Single-braced Stand:

Get this stand if you want the much-sought-after experience of playing with your keyboard resting on top of a Jello mold. It's advertised as "perfect for lightweight keyboards", but I recently had the displeasure of playing a Casio Privia (one of the lightest full-sized keyboards available - and a decent one at that) that was set on this useless stand. The stand wobbles with every chord and even a beginnner would (hopefully) outgrow this stand within a couple years. Forget single-x stands altogether - they are a waste of money. Spend an extra $30-40 and get a sturdy double-x stand. It will support any keyboard you put on it and you can use it for at least a decade if you take care of it. In fact, avoid the low-priced "On Stage" products altogether. Beginners eventually stop being beginners and you will have wasted your money on a line of chintzy equipment you will quickly want to replace.

A good rule of thumb for keyboard stands -- if it looks cheap and flimsy, that's because it is.

    Comments about On-Stage Stands KS7190 Single-braced Stand:

The stand is really nice but entirely too large for the keyboard. After reading someone else's review, I purchased a board to go underneath the keyboard. It's alright but another stand should be made to go with this keyboard.

I'm sure the stand would be more than adequate if the seller shipped it with screws.

This stand is not good for this 88 keys-keyboard, I had to return this one and pay the difference to get another with stand double braces. Sorry.

I use it for KS7190 M-Audio Keystation 49es, weight 6.6 pounds. It is very sturdy, stable, & inexpensive. You will need to ventilate thoroughly after unpacking because the packing chemicals give off strong fumes.

              Comments about On-Stage Stands KS7190 Single-braced Stand:

Purchased with a Williams Allegro 2 digital piano. I was concerned this single brace stand would wobble. It is completely sturdy and my piano does not budge on it. It is also adjustable to should suit any sitting or standing height.
