I got this controller last year and it is honestly a waste of money. unless youre willing to buy a sound card (you may happen to already have one) as well as an upgraded version of whatever software youre using. the only good djing software it works decent with is virtual dj (only the version upgraded from le which comes with it) and Traktor Pro. The reason i say upgrade or buy new software is because virtual dj is the worst software i have ever used and it just doesn't work right. You'd be better off saving your money and waiting until you have enough for the next step up. Like a Mixtrack Pro II or a Pioneer DDJ SB which both come with Serato Intro, though another stripped version of software like virtual dj le, this is alot better and gives you real effects. Now if youre just looking to mess around at small parties with your friends and arent looking to spend $250 for the standard beginner controller, than i'd say go for it. but if youre looking to really get into djing, wait and get one of the better models.

This thing does a lot more than what I've seen on YouTube, I use it mostly in the recording studio as a drum mpc for fruityloops,It gives great response with mixing and scratches and for virtual dj and chops &screw music accurately it's enough to keep me happy knowing my show disc can be spiced up a little more with another arsenal like This on my side !
