I picked this cable up to ...
I picked this cable up to replace a no-name one I had been using for a while. It's built pretty sturdy, about as sturdy as a cable can get. As far as features go, it comes with a little bag of different colored bands for each plug, totalling 4 sets of 2 bands each (red, blue, yellow, and green). If I was running a larger rig, it would make coordinating cables much easier. The lifetime warranty by Monster is what makes these really shine. I needed to replace my first cable after an accident, so I took it to a local GC and got a replacement, straight-up no questions asked. I would definately buy it again if I had to.

No Exchange Policy
I purchased this cable and was told it had a lifetime return policy. Today I took my faulty cable to a local Guitar Center and was told that Monster Cable changed their policy and no longer honors in store returns and I would have to go to Monster web site to get an exchange. The site is a joke and I am sure they count on you giving up. Well, the only thing I am giving up on is MONSTER CABLES. DON'T BUY THEM! DON'T BUY THEM! DON'T EVER BUY THEM!!!

I bought this cable (21ft) in September and it was great but after 2 months it basically gave out and I now have to rig it to get it to get me a signal. I give it a 2 because it was a great cable before. Great sound. Poor construction in my opinion.
It has been a marvelous 4 years..

I've had my 21' S-100 for 4 years now and it finally just gave out on me. It's not completely dead, but the right angle side of the cable has started to buzz when I plug it into my guitar. I'm planning on taking it in to Guitarcenter and exchanging it for the exact same one. I much prefer these to the Monster bass cable (have both) for connecting my bass to my pedalboard because it's not as stiff as the monster bass cable, which makes it easier to move around and not trip over myself... The right angle jack also ensures I don't break the end off if my guitar falls over like I did with my first 1/4" cable when I started playing...

Yeah...A "no brainer"...Monster cables are great...There are others that are probable as good...BUT...From my perspective "Monster" was the first & the others are copies...I started w/Monster...Heck, I've had an idiot harp player trip over it and tear it out of my amp/Just plugged it back in and kept going...I have never been let down...So...Why change from a successful relationship...
