IT'S A BEAST!
I bought my first monster cable about 4 years ago, and I haven't looked back since. The secret is in the gold plating. The gold also looks cool. I use my new Jackson RR3 with Duncan pickups into my Marshall G80R amp. It really cuts down on "fuzz" and other unwanted noise. The clean tones come in thick and meaty (like I like 'em). Plus they come with a lifetime warranty! They have greatly improved my recording quality into my Tascam us-122. Yes, they may be a little bit pricey, but you'll never get such an authentic sound.

nice cable but right angle doesn't work well with my telecaster
I bought this cable for my Fender Tele based on Monster's name and history with quality cables. My hope was to use the right angle side on the guitar for a cleaner look. The right angle side will not "snap" into the guitar, falls out, and does not work with the tele. I have to still use the straight in side of the cable on the guitar. I guess it works on the amp side though. Im glad I couldn't find the double right angle cable I was looking for since it would not have worked, I would have opened it, and Guitar Center would have hassled me with returning it. So......don't buy this cable for use with a telecaster.

Garbage. 1 star for warranty, 1 star for passing signal.

I really wish I never bought my set of Monster Rock cables. I was having an issue with my tone when running across my room from buffered pedal board to one of my amps, and it turned out that replacing with a higher-end cable, the issues disappeared immediately. The Monster cables are muddy in the mids, and harsh in the treble response. I hate them.
Great Cable!

This cable is not only durable but the signal quality is wonderful. I am a guitarist who plays out about once a week, and this cable always comes with me. It gets stepped on, kicked, beer spilled on it, and it still functions just like the day I opened it. At first I thought having quality cables was just a marketing gag, it's just wire right?...Wrong, cables can make or break the audio quality. This cable ROCKS!
Instant Clarity

As soon as i plugged in i could HEAR the quality over my old cord. It instantly offered more clarity and crispness to my tone and notes. It was like everything i was playing before this cable was being sent up a line of muddy yarn. Now i get a clear signal path from my guitar to my amp with very little resistance and i can hear what my signal is suppose to sound like. As far as the quality of the cable and ends i like the angle and the cable is soft and supple like high quality cables should be, not like the cheap jackets others use. It lays flat when unrolled and the connectors stay tight in the jacks.

You pay for a nice looking cable and pay more because of the lifetime warranty. Stay clear of this stuff - I've gone through two brand new ones in the past few months. First cable started cutting-out at a show, took it back guys at GC were good about replacing it, now my replacement is cutting out. The cheaper live wire stuff never fails. I'm done with Monster Guitar Cables - take it from a gigging guitar player. this stuff isn't worth the price.
