Purchased two of these for my sons for X-Mas. Wow! These are absolutely beautifully constructed. Very high quality. Way better than most I've seen at higher prices. We have a couple of friends that collect Ukes, and when one saw this Uke, he could not believe how nice it is. He collects vintage Hawaiian-made and Martin Ukes and could not put this one down. Again, build quality and sound are exceptional. We play guitar mostly, but my sons have been wanting Ukes for a while. Lots of fun to play. Price is great too.
I randomly had the urge to learn how to play the ukulele. I don't play any other string instruments. I bought i cheap $40 uke and learned the basic chords and decided i needed to step it up so i then bought this. It has been AMAZING. I have been playing it hard for almost 3 years and its been durable and still sounds great! I would recommend this for and level uke player!
When I was a little girl I had a toy ukulele that I carried around everywhere. When my husband found an old photo of me with my uke he decided it was time we paid a visit to GC. The moment I saw this uke I knew it was the one I had to have. Not only was it gorgeous but the sound from this little gem was absolutely beautiful. This uke looks and feels like an instrument costing much, much more. I have a Telecaster, an acoustic and a lap steel that I enjoy playing but none of them give me the giggles I get from strumming my new ukulele.
