Nice Poster

By Perry Bennett

from Longview, WA

I like the poster except the size. The poster is 24X35 and a regular poster is 24X36. Otherwise I like it for reference as I learn the Bass.

Locian is Wrong

By DanielKB

from Lexington, SC

The 1 star is just for dramatic effect. The locrian mode is wrong on this chart. The part on the 'G' uses a minor 3rd instead of the major 3rd.

Helpful visual aid

By Bob

from Vista CA

This chart is a great chart for teachers to have in their office. The visual aid is something that I really needed while learning the theory behind my instrument and now that I am a teacher it is very important to me that my students are able to see and hear what I am explaining. If you are a self taught bassist, this chart might seem a little cryptic. Get a friend who knows theory and talk about what you see on this chart. Scales on bass are very important so having notes like this can really help if you know how to read them.
