Mapex Black Panther Special Edition Maple Snare Drum Coffee Burst 14 X 6.5

The Mapex Black Panther Snare was created with the consultation of international Mapex artists that shared their expertise on everything from shell materials and functionality, to sizes and aesthetics. The result is a collection of unique snare drums that look fantastic and sound even better.

The foundation of this hand-built, 14 x 6-1/2" snare is a 7-ply, 4.1mm maple shell, which is supported by a 3mm reinforcement ring. This drum outputs full, warm tones with generous attack. A 10-lug configuration enables more precise, durable tuning in live performances.

The snare is also fitted with Sonic Saver hoops that reduce stick wear and enhance resonance. Additionally, a cylinder-drive strainer provides smooth adjustment by way of a self-lubricating bearing and "mirco-lock" technology.
