Analog pedal with time-tested tone and flexible settings in an amazingly compact package.
The MXR Carbon Copy Analog Delay Pedal features a completely analog audio path for the ultimate in rich, warm delay-made possible only by old-school bucket brigade technology. This design boasts an amazing 600ms of delay time with optional modulation via a top-mounted switch and a simple, three-knob layout that controls Delay time, Mix (dry/wet blend), and Regen (delay repeats)-all in a pedal no bigger than a Phase 90. In addition, the M169 pedal has two internal trim pots that offer user-adjustable width and rate control of the modulation for even more tonal options. The Carbon Copy effect pedal will take you from crisp "bathroom" slap echoes to epic, Gilmour-esque delays with a twist of a knob. True hardwire bypass, single 9-volt operation, and stage-ready blue LEDs round out the package.

NEW REVIEW - Incredible pedal
this pedal is one of the best I own by far. even when I am not using the delay on it, I still use the modulation just to add that spacey tone to it. even with just 3 knobs, it is incredibly versatile. a secret effect with it is when you hold a note and mess with the delay knob it changes the pitch of the note. look up a video of it on youtube and you will definitely want this pedal. I mean if the Edge likes it why shouldn't you?

It's all about the sound
I've had a couple digital delays in the past, but none I've been really impressed with the sound. This analog delay really carries through the warm tone of the first iteration. I also have an MXR Dyna Comp from the 70's that is still one of my main pedals, so I know they are built to last. Simple to use, great sound, solid construction, I'd highly recommend this pedal.

Holy Water
They should have called this pedal 'The Baptismal', or some such, because it will bathe you in the Holy Water. I love my DD-20, and I have played the RE-20, and have heard that Line-6 thing in action at the hands of a better player than myself many times...but digital delays are good for different things...and they cannot provide the embryonic warmth of an analog delay.
If you don't know, try one and let the Holy Mother convert you. I just brought mine home and have lost hours in worship already...

Worth every penny
I bought this pedal about a week ago and am simply astounded. This pedal offers warm, & rich analog delay tones that no other pedal maker can beat. There's lots of different delays you can get out of this pedal, and if you like delay, you must buy it! Don't think twice about getting this, it is totally worth it! Kudos to MXR, for making another brilliant pedal that's worth every penny!

A Great Delay Pedal.
I thought I had something when I got the Boss DD-3, and i'll admit it was a great pedal. But this one has something else, it has great tone, and it being totally analog is definetly a plus. I'll roll this one forever in my setup.
