Pretty Darn Good, One Slight Drawback
Overall, this is a great product. No problems at all running modern effects with it. However, that being said, the older pedals that take 1/8in power plugs (DOD, for example) don't work with it. Yes, there is an adapter for it, but that adapter shorts out or something and all power is lost on my pedalboard. It's not just a single faulty adapter or board, either. I tried all 4 adapters I have (from 2 kits) and I tried it on different pedal boards. Same thing. All in all, a great product, but don't expect it to power old pedals that need 1/8in power plugs. The Visual Sound 1Spot adapter for the 1/8in power plugs works perfectly, however, so I'd recommend that, even thought it's a bit pricey. This kit DOES include a battery snap adapter, and that does work, so that's an option as well.

Started getting a high pitched sound
Well, I had no issues with this 1 spot clone for about 3 years. I purchased the 1 spot first, then after adding more pedals, I got the Livewire. Had no issues for those 3 years, but recently, I started getting a high pitched sound coming from the amp. Thought maybe a bad pre amp tube, nope, power tube, nope. After I took the pedals out of the loop the noise was gone. Time to troubleshoot... All the pedals were fine. Finally after removing the Livewire from the chain, the noise was gone. I purchase another 1 spot and no noise. The original 1 spot that is 5 years old still works fine. Sorry Livewire. I have lots of cables that have stood the test of time, but this did not. :-(

This power cable solution works as expected. The kit offers several ways to hook it up, even a battery. All in all it works just fin with no disappointment.
