  • Decent for the price

As reviewed by justin larkins on 11/30/2011

I really like this thing for the price. I play guitar and was just looking for something slightly different so I went with this. I did some research and went with this one mostly because I'm cheap. Out of the box, it is crap, I changed the strings and I tightend the screws to the tuners and it made a world of difference, I rarely have to tune the thing. i have played nicer ukes in the store and yes they do sound better, way better. But if you're looking to explore the possiblity of picking up the ukulele, buy this first, if you decide the uke isn't your thing, you didn't loose that much money.

  • Nice entry level uke

As reviewed by Jimmy on 12/19/2009

This is a nice place to start for the beginner. While your learning, playing and deciding if you want to be a uke player you won't have spent to much cash. I would recommend replacing the strings though. Have fun and join Ukulele Underground for lots of helpful tips! mahalo!

  • Great Value

As reviewed by Jack on 12/31/2009

This uke is well worth the price, especially if you're a beginner. The only downside is that it often goes out of tune, even after the stings have been on for a while, so I usually have to re-tune after one or two songs.
