Connects to the top of mic stands and holds 2 microphones or boom arms. 5/8" locking screws, adjustable from 2.3" to 6.7".
This stereo bar is good because of the flexibility it offers for getting your near-coincident stereo mic setups right. Only one issue (so far) - The part that mounts to the microphone shock mount can be difficult to remove from the shock mount once you've tightened it. Its a little hard to explain why without having a picture - the screw for attaching your shock mounts can be completely unscrewed from the bar, and when this happens, you can't get a good grip on the screw to unscrew it. Its not a big deal, you'll just have to make sure you carry along a wrench or pair of pliers in case its too tight to loosen by hand.

It's a great idea and cheap. I use this as a hand held boom for paranormal investigations and my problem with this is that the screws loosen up and the mics will slide along the bar. I have to use duc tape to keep them from sliding. Another small problem is that the chrome screws stick in the mic mount and have to be removed using plyers. That's more of a pain in the butt more than anything else. It is lightweight and cheap and until something better comes along I will be using it.
