Great idea, horrible execution....

This thing was such a great idea and I was excited to get it. but was very disappointed when it came in. It is poorly made. Made from flimsy plastic with edges not even lining up flush. When I move it around, I can hear things inside of it moving. Sounds like a spring or something. The effects are a joke as well. This would not last long if used for live shows. No way to mount it to any kind of stand. Not even the remote. The sound is poor as well. Vocals peak even with trim only 1/4 and are still way to low to hear! Drummers would never be able to hear anything when using an acoustic drum set! Lots of hum as well! Oh and no customer service from JamHub. I emailed them to ask if maybe I was doing something wrong, or if i may have received a damaged unit, but nearly a week has gone by, and I have not received any response. I plan on returning it, saving my money, and getting a Behringer Powerplay.

It's amazing! We all can hear what we want and no one on the outside of the band needs to hear us. The clarity is fantastic. The ability to set your own mix... hear what you want to hear..not what the band techie thinks is the right mix. NO more volume wars. As a drummer, I want to hear the bass mostly and then a fair mix of the rest of the band. I play VDrums so I'm used to listening through my headphones. To play live in rehearsal is always so muddled. Trying to keep the volume down and playing thru the PA... the drums never sound right. They sound great through the JamHub and headphones. Add in all the rest of the players to your headphones and it's the perfect mix. Better for your ears too. No ear fatigue. So we can play longer. Big Thumbs up!!
Better music, through better practice!

The last piece of my studio is finaly in place ............The Jamhub greenroom! Low practice noise and superior hearing capabilities lead to better music. When you can hear the music, you can fix the music. Everybody steps up thier game when they can hear thier mistakes, wrong notes and misques. The 3 bands I play in all love the jamhub, practices are more productive, go smoother and faster. Great product! Love to see a longer cord or an extension for the Solemix remote though. Can only give 5 stars, would have given it a 10!!

this is a nice little unit for practicing. an easy way to have multiple good sounding mixes for multiple musicians at once. I've always had problems practicing and trying to find the perfect mix with others so now they can control their own, so no complaints! only complaint I have is the cord length of the solemix units is only 12.5 feet, it should be at least 20, but I can get over that. I would also like more channels, but 7 is a good number.
Every parent wants a jamhub, some just don't know it yet.

The jamhub is truly a life-changing product. My son's band practice has always been a horrendous battle between me yelling at the band to turn the music down, and the band trying to jam loudly. I used to dread band practice. This hub completely does everything it claims. I cannot describe the amount of stress and conflict it removed from our household. I actually encourage practice at my house now. My son's friends can come over with just their guitars and headphones-no amps to lug around, and jam to their heart's content. I hear nothing except a little singing. My in-laws were watching the house in the middle of band practice one day and weren't disturbed ONE BIT. Amazing. I can FINALLY feel comfortable sending my son to other parent's houses to jam out. Transportation is easier as well. He just has to pack up his guitar and jam hub and go. I don't know who loves the jamhub more, me and my wife or my son's band.
