A clean, cool look, great crunch, and warm sustain.

The SLSMG Soloist electric guitar from Jackson features a mahogany carved-top body, mahogany neck (through body) for outstanding sustain, compound radius ebony fingerboard, hot EMG© 81 (bridge) and 85 (neck) humbucking pickups, string-through-body bridge and black hardware.

Jackson's compound-radius fingerboard curves more dramatically at the nut for easy chording and flattens out as it approaches the neck joint for low-action bends without fretting out. With a more relaxed hand, you'll play better!

Perfect for shredding

Being a long time Jackson enthusiast I bought this guitar about three years ago and it's been my main guitar ever since. This guitar is built for players that like to play fast and hard. The quality parallels the USA soloist and it weighs a bit less. Mine came with stock EMG-HZ's and the thing screams. One of the best guitar purchases I've ever made.

Jackson Slsmg soloist

I bought one of these about a year ago. Needless to say it took me a year to stop playing it to write this review. I love this guitar I will never buy another.

Amazing..

The other day I visited Guitar Center and saw one of these on the wall. Being a Jackson enthusiast, I decided to pick it up and test it out. First impression: "This is the lightest guitar I've ever lifted." Seriously.. I have a two-year-old cat that weighs more than this guitar. The sonics are amazing and the neck is one of the fasted I've played. I own two other Jacksons and this is my favorite by far. Oh, and by the way.. I bought it!

sorry les paul, the new guy is coming to town!

For the first 8 yrs i played guitar i used some piece of junk i bought at a pawn shop for $50. this held me back from learning a whole lot of new techniques. after i bought this guitar, it was like being hit by lightning! the super hot pickups and amazing fret board allow you to do anything you want with a guitar. i started off playing linkin park and now im playing lamb of god and BLS! and it's all thanks to guitar center and jackson!

I Friggin love it!!!

I needed a guitar with sweet metal tone, amazing sustain, hot pickups, a super fast neck, and a Flloyd Rose... I thought i would have to get a $2000 Dean to get all of that... but when i picked up this guitar, it had it all... it's amazing, practically sustains for days... the neck is so fast it makes it so easy to to shred a quick song or solo... the first thing i played on it was "Cowboys from Hell", on that guitar its a peice of cake, even the solo! if your into playing speed metal or just really fast licks you'd love this guitar...
