awesome guitar
this an awesome guitar.i bought it about 1 month ago. it has a really nie fretboard which gives me the advantage to move my fingers easily in the lead part. its INF3 and 4 humbuckers and INF3S3 single coil pickup in between make a gud sound. i play this with the digitech metalzone and it makes a high class sound which sometimes make my mom crazy.i advice especially the beginners and those ppl are in metal or rock music to get it..

Before all of you think I'm a negative nancy, hear me out. I've been playing guitar for 11 years... I was using a WashBurn up until 3 months ago. It finally started falling apart on me so I needed to get a new guitar. I seen this ibanez in the store, and loved the look of it. I went home and read about it, seen that it had GREAT reviews. And for such a reasonable price?! I gotta have it right? WRONG. If you're like me and you keep your guitar PERFECTLY in tune then this guitar will literally make you insane. When I first got it, it kept going out of tune. So I brought it to the store for a "Set Up"... where they adjust the intonation, string height, etc. After I brought it home, it literally went right back out of tune (Yes with the lockers on). So I brought it back and he made some adjustments to the springs and the bridge. Then came out and said, "Listen I did the best I can, it stays in tune but if you pull up the whammy, you have to push it down to make it fall back into tune again." After that I tried replacing the strings, nothing. Tried asking other guitar techs, they had no idea. The best answer I got from a friend was that it's just a cheaper guitar and that's what you get. Apparently (according to the other reviews) not many people pay attention to this problem. So if you could care less about the tremolo, then YES BUY THIS GUITAR! But in my case, I really wanted a guitar with tremolo, so since I'm passed GC's 30 day return pollicy, I have to just buy another guitar, which means I just spent money on a Glamorous Paper Weight.

Well i have this guitar for over 4 months now and i must say it's amazing, the infinity pickups are mehh not that good but they are what i need,i play mainly post hardcore like woe is me and stuff like that and i like how the neck feels, i love this guitar ,it's quality is unbeatabla for the price i tried a schecter hellraiser special,a jackson DKMG dinky, and some other higher end ibanez like a premium and stuff but this guitar felt way better than the other guitars i tried, it's not reall heavy and the quilted maple makes it look killer, the only drawback is the tremolo i mean shure it has better tuning stability than most of the liscencedtrems and floyd rose special tremolos but you cant trust in it i mean one day it can be perfect and the next day this scumbag trem needs a set up again im gonna buy a original floyd rose it fits perfectly into the edge 3 cavity.

Bought this guitar as my 3rd guitar, just getting into metal, and it blew my mind. ive had it for about 4 months now, and it has a very thin, fast neck. 25.5" scale makes it great for everything, and the cutaway is great, i can reach the 24th fret with ease. i personally love the Edge III on this guitar, flawless accuracy if you set it up right (stretching the strings and everything), i actually tested it by doing 100 dive bombs and 100 pull ups, and when i got out the tuner afterward, each string was perfectly in tune and intonated. the only thing i didn't like was not having the ability to tune to drop-D. So, I bought a Tremol-no (great product) and now it tunes to drop D, drop C, drop B, whatever. And I can still do dive bombs! No problems at all, other than how long it takes to re-string. 5/5

I bought this guitar in February of 2010 and i haven't stopped loving it since. From the crunchy heavy tones to the smooth bluesy tones, this guitar can do it all. My band is on the Ibanez train and i wouldn't have it any other way. This guitar is a great choice for any skill level. Great buy, you will absolutely love it.

I never really liked Ibanez guitars, because most of the other ones that I had played never had a really good heavy metal sound to them. But this guitar completely blew my mind when I plugged in and started playin. I thought it just looked really good, and I thought because of the 3rd pickup I could get more range in the sound, and I was 100% right. I love this guitar, might not get as heavy as a sound as my B.C. Rich Kerry King Warlock, but it still has an amazing sound. Plus I love the tremolo on this thing, I was playin in GC and started doin dive bombs and most guitars I try that with just go right out of tune after doin about 3 or 4 of them, but this one stayed in tune, so I started gettin a little more aggressive with the tremolo, and it still stayed in tune the whole time I played it. I can defintely say that once I get the money this guitar is mine
Awesome, right out of the box!!!

I tryed this guitar out around Christmas, and simply fell in love with it. The finish, Blackberry Sunburst, is beautiful. The action is amazing, and the sound is superb. Nothing spectacular with the stock pickups, but still produces great harmonics, warm and smooth tone on the clean channels, and crisp, hard driving tone on the distortion channel. I did have to tighten a few bolts down here and there, but that is because I did not have Guitar Centers Tech go over it when I prchased it. I am absolutely positive they would have though. I will be replacing the pickups with the Satriaini Mo' Joe pickups, as they are my favorite, and give me my own unique sound, but I highly recommend this guitar to both beginning and seasoned fellow axe slingers!!!
